About the role
Responsibilities
- Complete assigned work orders and perform preventative maintenance
- Manage the "make-ready" process for vacant apartment homes
- Track inventory and request supplies from the maintenance department
- Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities
- Support cost-cutting programs by repairing rather than replacing parts
- Participate in quarterly preventative maintenance programs
- Participate in a rotating after-hours emergency on-call schedule
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of residential maintenance experience
- Experience with work orders and make-ready turns
- Basic to moderate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair skills
- EPA Universal certification
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass drug test and background check
