About the role
Responsibilities
- Resolve work orders and complete preventative maintenance
- Support day-to-day onsite operations under direction of Lead Maintenance Technician
- Participate in the On-Call Rotation for emergencies
- Accurately assess root causes of work orders to improve resident homes
- Walk the property daily to clear trash and debris
- Turn around vacant apartment units for new residents
- Communicate progress on work orders to Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager
- Adhere to company safety policies and Fair Housing laws
Requirements
- HVAC Type I and Type II/EPA Universal Certification
- Valid Driver's License
- Experience in plumbing, drywall repair, painting, carpentry, or appliance repair
- Previous experience in a mid-rise apartment community preferred
- Ability to respond to after-hours or weekend emergencies
- High school graduate; technical school preferred
