Apartment Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Resolve work orders and complete preventative maintenance
• Support day-to-day onsite operations under direction of Lead Maintenance Technician
• Participate in the On-Call Rotation for emergencies
• Accurately assess root causes of work orders to improve resident homes
• Walk the property daily to clear trash and debris
• Turn around vacant apartment units for new residents
• Communicate progress on work orders to Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager
• Adhere to company safety policies and Fair Housing laws

Requirements

• HVAC Type I and Type II/EPA Universal Certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Experience in plumbing, drywall repair, painting, carpentry, or appliance repair
• Previous experience in a mid-rise apartment community preferred
• Ability to respond to after-hours or weekend emergencies
• High school graduate; technical school preferred
