Apartment Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Resolve resident work orders by accurately assessing root causes and performing necessary repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance and assist with capital improvement projects onsite
• Prepare vacant apartment units for new residents (unit turns)
• Conduct daily property walks to ensure grounds are clean and free of debris
• Participate in the on-call emergency rotation to respond to after-hours maintenance needs
• Adhere to all company safety policies, operating procedures, and Fair Housing laws

Requirements

• HVAC Type I and Type II/EPA Universal Certification (required)
• Valid Driver's License in good standing
• Proven experience in plumbing, drywall repair, painting, carpentry, and appliance repair
• Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Experience in a mid-rise apartment community environment is preferred
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents
