Apartment Make-Ready Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments to make them rent ready
• Assist with maintenance requests, preventative maintenance, and amenity area maintenance
• Complete routine maintenance on appliances, plumbing, HVAC systems, and minor electrical
• Maintain maintenance shop organization and inventory levels
• Maintain logbooks, databases, and status updates
• Monitor contractor work performance
• Support Maintenance Manager with budget responsibilities
• Perform cleaning duties including vacant units, trash removal, and grounds maintenance
• Communicate professionally with residents and prospects
• Resolve resident complaints promptly

Requirements

• 1-3 years of maintenance or make-ready experience
• Valid driver's license with dependable transportation
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
