Apartment Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform basic apartment turns to ensure units are ready for new resident move-ins
• Complete resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance tasks
• Troubleshoot and repair or replace plumbing, basic electrical components, HVAC equipment, and appliances
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and support team members
• Assist with move-in/move-out inspections and manage vendor quality as needed

Requirements

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a facilities or building environment
• Proficiency in at least two technical trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, or appliance repair)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts (at least one week per month)
• Reliable transportation to respond to emergency service requests
• Physical ability to move heavy equipment and machinery
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
