About the role

Responsibilities

  • Take full operational ownership of housekeeping, linen, and laundry functions
  • Supervise and develop the Housekeeping Supervisor and on-site staff
  • Manage property inventory, consumables, and cleaning supplies
  • Oversee guest services, including check-in, complaints, and reputation management
  • Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate operational records, payroll inputs, and weekly reports
  • Manage property maintenance logs and escalate operational risks

Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality operations management
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary on-site teams
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and property management systems
  • Strong operational discipline and people leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hospitality management qualification or equivalent
  • Experience in aparthotel, serviced apartment, or short-term rental environments
