About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide continuing airworthiness management support for the AH-64E Apache Attack Helicopter in compliance with MAA regulatory publications
  • Act as a main point of contact for the Boeing-contracted MRP Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO)
  • Support the Mil CAMO in developing and improving airworthiness management processes
  • Assist in liaising between the Mil CAMO and the AMO to maintain oversight of aircraft maintenance and modifications
  • Provide technical and process compliance support to ensure proper application of maintenance orders
  • Support CAMO assurance and surveillance quality audits and execute corrective action plans
  • Participate in weekly safety meetings to review occurrence reports and support safety investigations
  • Monitor changes in customer requirements to ensure sustained delivery of airworthiness support

Requirements

  • Previous Civil or Military CAMO experience
  • Knowledge of UK MAA Regulations and UK MoD Airworthiness policies
  • Technical competency in aircraft Maintenance Management Systems (MMS)
  • Strong communication and diplomatic skills for interfacing with UK MoD and Boeing stakeholders
  • Ability to work collaboratively and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Eligibility for UK Security Check (SC) clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering background with a UK HND, HNC, or Undergraduate Degree
  • Technical knowledge and experience specifically with the Apache aircraft type or other rotary wing aircraft
  • Knowledge of UK MoD Form 700 Series and UK Aviation DDH requirements
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems, including AS9100
  • Experience in aircraft occurrence safety investigations
  • UK Professional Registration (Incorporated Engineer or higher)
