APAC Sales Development Leader

Responsibilities

• Build and scale OpenAI’s APAC Sales Development organization, including hiring, org design, and enablement
• Lead and develop front-line SDR managers and teams across key APAC markets
• Own the regional enterprise pipeline generation strategy and opportunity creation
• Translate product usage, pilots, and developer engagement into qualified enterprise opportunities
• Develop localized and vertical-specific SDR motions tailored to APAC markets
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Field Engineering, and Partnerships to drive regional GTM motions
• Establish scalable outbound, inbound, ABM, and product-led pipeline generation playbooks
• Build a data-driven operating cadence focused on pipeline quality and conversion
• Support market expansion strategy, investment prioritization, and territory planning

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, revenue, or GTM leadership
• Significant experience leading SDR or pipeline generation organizations across APAC
• Experience managing distributed, multicultural teams across multiple countries and time zones
• Proven track record of building or scaling enterprise demand generation engines
• Fluency in product-led and usage-based GTM motions (PQLs, pilots, expansion)
• Deep understanding of enterprise selling nuances across APAC markets
• Highly data-driven with expertise in forecasting and pipeline analytics
• Ability to thrive in matrixed organizations and influence senior stakeholders
• Strong executive presence for engaging with enterprise customers and partners
