APAC Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Execute daily reporting controls to ensure the completeness, accuracy, validity, and timeliness of regulatory reporting.
• Perform completeness and accuracy reconciliations of regulatory reports against source systems.
• Log and track identified issues or control gaps and escalate reporting issues to Senior Management and Compliance.
• Conduct thematic reviews of regulatory reporting breaches and propose enhancement plans.
• Drive regulatory reporting process changes, including automation initiatives and end-to-end testing for regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with Business and Technology teams to prioritize requirements and present business cases.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in the execution of Regulatory Reporting controls.
• Strong knowledge of operational processes and controls, including risk and quality assurance functions.
• Proven ability to identify data sources, validate data, write business requirements, and test reports.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong sense of ownership.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders across various lines of business and functions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Alteryx or Tableau to improve and automate regulatory reporting controls.
• Prior experience executing specific controls related to completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
• Understanding of OTC Derivative products, including Credit, Rates, FX, Equities, and Commodities.
