About the role
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end payroll processing across 10 APAC countries, ensuring accurate delivery of base salary, statutory benefits, overtime, and tax deductions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll queries via the ticketing system, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
- Collect, validate, and reconcile payroll inputs including timesheets, master data, and attendance records.
- Maintain data integrity through high-volume data entry in systems such as Workday HCM and CloudPay.
- Prepare standard and ad hoc payroll reports to support audits and stakeholder requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, SOPs, and SOX control standards.
- Monitor and stay current on statutory and regulatory payroll changes across the APAC region.
- Collaborate with People, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably within an APAC payroll environment.
- Solid understanding of payroll principles, tax concepts, and local regional regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling sensitive data.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills for complex calculations and reconciliations.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a customer service mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Workday HCM.
- Experience using CloudPay.
