APAC Payroll Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll processing across 10 APAC countries, ensuring accurate delivery of base salary, statutory benefits, overtime, and tax deductions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll queries via the ticketing system, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
• Collect, validate, and reconcile payroll inputs including timesheets, master data, and attendance records.
• Maintain data integrity through high-volume data entry in systems such as Workday HCM and CloudPay.
• Prepare standard and ad hoc payroll reports to support audits and stakeholder requirements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, SOPs, and SOX control standards.
• Monitor and stay current on statutory and regulatory payroll changes across the APAC region.
• Collaborate with People, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably within an APAC payroll environment.
• Solid understanding of payroll principles, tax concepts, and local regional regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling sensitive data.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills for complex calculations and reconciliations.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and a customer service mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Workday HCM.
• Experience using CloudPay.
