APAC P2P OPL

Responsibilities

• Lead the Asia Pacific Procure to Pay (P2P) organization, ensuring consistent operational performance management aligned with global standards.
• Execute global P2P strategic objectives within the APAC region, including the integration of BPO organizations.
• Define, implement, and monitor KPIs and annual performance targets to improve process effectiveness.
• Analyze operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions.
• Chair operational governance forums to provide actionable performance insights and trend analysis to regional leadership.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Procurement, Treasury, and IT to enable seamless end-to-end operations.
• Partner with Global Process Owners and Technology teams to advance system enhancements, automation, and digital solutions.
• Manage regional P2P budgets, forecasting, cost control, and resource optimization.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements to mitigate fraud and operational risk.
• Lead and develop regional teams, promoting career progression and a results-driven culture.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Deep subject matter expertise in Procure to Pay (P2P) or Accounts Payable (AP).
• Proven experience in process improvement and operational excellence.
• Hands-on experience with SAP in a P2P, Finance, or Operations context.
• Strong knowledge of process design methodologies such as Lean Sigma or Six Sigma.
• Experience working within large, complex global organizations.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise-level processes and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the FMCG industry.
• Experience managing and working with outsourced BPO providers.
• Proven track record in change management and large-scale business transformation.
• Knowledge of role design, segregation of duties, and internal control requirements.
• Proficiency in additional APAC regional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Bahasa, or Hindi).
