A&P Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and special maintenance on aircraft mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and plumbing
• Determine when components should be repaired or replaced and secure necessary parts
• Repair, rework, and modify worn or defective assemblies according to FAA and OEM standards
• Follow approved maintenance procedures and technical data from original equipment manufacturers
• Inspect completed work to ensure components meet prescribed standards and tolerances
• Perform serviceability tests on repaired components using specified test equipment
• Complete work package documentation and sign off on designated operations
• Account for time and materials used in all inspection and maintenance activities

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Airframe or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
• Ability to work a Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:30 pm shift
• Ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA regulations
• Ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations

Preferred Qualifications

• One to two years of experience in aircraft repair, maintenance, or overhaul
• Recent depot-level aircraft maintenance experience
• Proficiency in interpreting OEM technical data or work package instructions
• Experience using power or pneumatic hand tools
