AP & T&E Manager

Responsibilities

• Directly manage a team of AP and T&E specialists, setting clear expectations and building individual development plans.
• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice receipt, PO matching, and multi-currency reconciliation.
• Manage end-to-end T&E operations, including expense report review, corporate card administration, and reimbursement cycles.
• Drive quality and SLA performance by monitoring processing cycle times, error rates, and exception volumes.
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring errors and partner with global functional leads to implement systemic fixes.
• Ensure all processes operate within the SOX control framework and maintain detailed documentation for audit readiness.
• Serve as the primary Bangalore execution point of contact for Stripe's global AP functional organization.

Requirements

• 12–14 years of experience in accounts payable, T&E, or broader finance operations in a high-volume environment.
• 8+ years of direct people management experience.
• Deep end-to-end AP process knowledge, including the full invoice lifecycle and payment run execution.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday.
• Experience with T&E tools like Concur, Expensify, or similar platforms.
• Direct experience operating in a SOX-controlled finance environment.
• Working experience with AI tools in a finance operations context, such as AI-assisted processing or automation tooling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of building and owning operational dashboards using data to drive performance.
• Experience working within a high-growth technology company or fintech environment.
• Experience contributing to the design, testing, or rollout of automation or AI implementation projects.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across time zones with global teams.
