A&P Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Build carbon fiber structures, mechanical structures, and related components
• Integrate mechanical hardware
• Perform refurbishment of previously flown launch vehicles
• Uphold shop cleanliness and organization
• Utilize proper PPE
• Work within a high-caliber cross-functional team

Requirements

• A&P License or relevant military experience in fixed or rotor wing maintenance
• Familiarity with hand, power, pneumatic, and inspection tools
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts (8+ hours)
• Ability to climb ladders and work at elevated heights, in small spaces, or awkward positions
• Ability to perform repetitive motions (bending, twisting, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, stooping)
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 25 lbs
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and varied shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the new space or aerospace industry
• Depot level mechanic work on aircraft
• Military field experience
• Experience with scheduled maintenance at the C&D check level
