Anti-Financial Crime Expert

Responsibilities

• Review alerts and conduct thorough case investigations to identify potential suspicious activities for reporting purposes
• Act as a specialist in transaction monitoring with a strong understanding of compliance requirements and industry best practices
• Detect patterns and trends indicative of money laundering, terrorist financing, or other suspicious activities
• Conduct in-depth investigations when suspicious activities are identified and ensure all findings are accurately documented

Requirements

• Hands-on work experience in an operational AML/AFC role or related departments within the banking or financial sector
• Fluency in both English and German with excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to create thorough and precise case documentation
• Confidence in making sound, risk-based decisions
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion of workflows
• High attention to detail and a proactive, motivated mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a similar position within a neo-bank or digital banking environment
