Antenna & Microwave Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform antenna and radome measurements, including near field range tests for AESAs
• Work closely with engineering staff in a lab environment to support testing and data collection
• Utilize antenna positioners and near field scanner mechanical systems
• Communicate successes, technical issues, and opportunities for improvement to management
• Support integration sites, customer facilities, or subcontractor locations as required
• Participate in 2nd, 3rd, or weekend shifts as needed to meet project demands

Requirements

• AA/AS degree or equivalent 2-year post-high school training
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in antenna or radar measurement
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with data processing related to microwave or antenna testing
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with microwave testing equipment including spectrum analyzers, RSAs, VNAs, and PNAs
• Knowledge of microwave engineering, electromagnetic theory, and radar systems
• Experience working directly with engineers and scientists in an engineering lab environment
• Strong constructive problem-solving and communication skills
