Antenna Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of antenna architectures for radar systems, including radiating elements, subarrays, and feeding networks.
• Define antenna requirements based on system-level performance needs such as gain, bandwidth, beamwidth, and polarization.
• Perform electromagnetic simulation and design optimization using industry-standard tools like HFSS or CST.
• Develop antenna verification strategies and lead test campaigns, including radiation pattern measurement and impedance characterization.
• Support the integration of antenna solutions into radar assemblies, ensuring compatibility with RF front ends and mechanical packaging.
• Collaborate with RF, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to ensure end-to-end performance and producibility.
• Provide technical leadership in design reviews, failure investigations, and technology roadmap definition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in antenna engineering, electromagnetic design, and validation of high-performance RF systems.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of electromagnetics, antenna arrays, and radiation mechanisms.
• Proven proficiency with EM simulation tools and the interpretation of laboratory or chamber measurement results.
• Ability to lead technical activities across multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex issues clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with radar, Electronic Warfare (EW), or SATCOM applications.
• Familiarity with environmental, qualification, and reliability requirements for mission-critical defense systems.
