About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate programs and events to increase philanthropy and engagement among alumni, parents, students, and friends of the university.
- Co-manage the Student Engagement Officer (SEO) Program, including recruitment, training, and management of 6–8 student employees.
- Develop and implement marketing and communications campaigns, including digital outreach, e-newsletters, and segmented email/text campaigns.
- Lead the Senior Class Gift initiative and develop philanthropy education sessions for students.
- Support annual giving strategies and segmented campaigns to increase donor participation and contributions.
- Collaborate with the Advancement team and Office of Events & Conferences to support signature programs like Homecoming and Family Weekend.
- Maintain accurate constituent data, contact reports, and metrics within the Advancement database.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in fundraising (professional or student-level).
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership or management.
- Experience using GiveCampus or similar constituent management databases.
