About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate programs and events to increase philanthropy and engagement among alumni, parents, students, and friends of the university.
  • Co-manage the Student Engagement Officer (SEO) Program, including recruitment, training, and management of 6–8 student employees.
  • Develop and implement marketing and communications campaigns, including digital outreach, e-newsletters, and segmented email/text campaigns.
  • Lead the Senior Class Gift initiative and develop philanthropy education sessions for students.
  • Support annual giving strategies and segmented campaigns to increase donor participation and contributions.
  • Collaborate with the Advancement team and Office of Events & Conferences to support signature programs like Homecoming and Family Weekend.
  • Maintain accurate constituent data, contact reports, and metrics within the Advancement database.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in fundraising (professional or student-level).
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership or management.
  • Experience using GiveCampus or similar constituent management databases.
