About the role
Responsibilities
- Create high-quality, keyframe Character Animation
- Develop the timing and pace of character or object movement
- Edit Motion Capture data to blend detailed movement with keyframe skills
- Maintain visual continuity and quality across characters as set by Directors
- Collaborate with technical animation and other stakeholders to improve pipelines
- Manage shot and sequence responsibilities within project deadlines
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in feature-style projects or video game cinematics
- 5+ years of experience in Maya and MotionBuilder
- Strong understanding of facial animation, anatomy, and caricature
- Proficiency in animating stylized characters
- Experience working with and editing Motion Capture data
- Strong posing and storytelling skills
- Ability to solve technical issues independently
- Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating relevant animation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with projects leveraging Unreal for animation integration
- Skills in illustration, modeling, rigging, or technical art
- Experience with hand key facial animation tools
