About the role
Responsibilities
- Care for impounded dogs and cats daily
- Support reunification, rehoming and registration outcomes
- Maintain accurate animal and customer records
- Respond to animal management enquiries
- Assist with compliance and legislative administration
- Monitor animal welfare, health and safety
- Process payments, fees and daily reconciliations
- Maintain a clean, safe animal facility
Requirements
- Dog and Cat Management and Control qualification
- Experience handling and caring for animals
- Strong customer service and public relations skills
- Ability to manage difficult conversations calmly
- Cash handling and receipting experience
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Current National Police Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Microchipping qualifications
- ROCS qualifications
