About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications across the full lifecycle from development to release
- Implement scalable and maintainable architecture using MVVM or Clean Architecture
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and Backend teams to deliver features aligned with business goals
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs into mobile applications
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure high performance
- Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentoring to other developers
- Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous improvement in app usability and reliability
Requirements
- 3–5 years of Android development experience with a track record of delivering production-ready apps
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java
- Deep knowledge of Android SDK and Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation)
- Experience with Coroutines, Flow, and Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger)
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs, Retrofit, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong testing skills using JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso
- Experience leading a team of 4–8 Android developers
- Ability to design modular, scalable mobile architectures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
- Background in fintech, telecom, or enterprise-level applications
- Knowledge of multi-module architecture and Firebase
- Exposure to cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native
