Android Mobile Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance native Android applications using modern tools and frameworks
• Take end-to-end ownership of Android features, from requirements analysis and architecture design to implementation and release
• Analyze requirements, prototype solutions, and support the full software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality results in a fast-paced environment
• Author clear technical designs, architecture documents, and developer-facing documentation for regulated environments

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and shipping Android applications
• Proficiency in Kotlin and deep expertise with the Android SDK
• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Material Design principles
• Strong knowledge of MVVM architecture and experience with patterns like MVI or Clean Architecture
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs and working with WebSockets
• Experience with hardware integrations such as Bluetooth (Classic/BLE) or CameraX
• Proficiency with dependency injection frameworks like Hilt or Dagger
• Experience with Android testing frameworks including JUnit, Espresso, and UI Automator
• Strong understanding of app lifecycle, performance, and memory management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software development in regulated environments, such as medical devices (IEC 62304 or ISO 13485)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Gradle, GitHub Actions, Fastlane, or Firebase Test Lab
• Experience using advanced debugging and profiling tools for performance optimization
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Firebase, or Google Cloud
• iOS development skills, particularly in Swift
