Android Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build impactful features and high-quality, seamless experiences on the Android platform.
• Collaborate with regional and product teams to deliver localized user experiences.
• Champion team culture by participating in agile ceremonies and refining processes.
• Elevate the Android Guild by driving engineering excellence and setting development standards.
• Ensure built solutions are scalable, maintainable, and extensible for a global product.

Requirements

• Proven experience in building and deploying Android applications.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Familiarity with modern app architectures (e.g., Unidirectional Data Flow, Dependency Injection).
• Experience with structured concurrency using Kotlin Coroutines.
• A strong desire to write testable, high-quality code.
• Understanding of REST API design.
• A strong product mindset with a focus on user experience and data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with declarative UI using Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with Gradle and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
