Responsibilities

• Build core mobile experiences for sign-up, account management, family features, and payments
• Create reusable Android foundations for product teams across different OpenAI apps
• Own complex client-side systems spanning UI, networking, local state, and payment integrations
• Work closely with backend, product, and safety partners to shape mobile architecture
• Ensure high standards for security, reliability, and user trust at global scale

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proven track record of building high-quality Android applications in production
• Fluency in Kotlin and/or Java
• Familiarity with Android development tools and architecture components
• Strong focus on performance, security, and user experience
