Android Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade Android applications and libraries
• Architect and build high-quality POS applications and SDKs for global payment experiences
• Collaborate with product management and internal business teams to define technical specifications
• Serve as a core contributor owning the full product development lifecycle
• Refactor code and design alongside architects to ensure maintainability, extensibility, and reusability

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of Android development experience building production-level applications
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the ability to work with Java codebases
• Deep knowledge of Android architecture components and Jetpack libraries
• Experience with modern development approaches including Compose, MVVM, Coroutines, and Flow
• Proven ability to promote robust code with high test coverage and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining Android SDK libraries or frameworks
• Working experience within the payments or fintech industry
• Familiarity with cross-platform technologies such as React Native or Flutter
