Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Android applications using Kotlin
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile and Extreme Programming (XP) environment
• Engage in pair programming to foster a collaborative engineering culture
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process
• Adhere to Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Participate in code reviews, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and planning meetings
• Stay up to date with Android development best practices, tools, and trends

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Android development
• Proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise
• Strong understanding and application of Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Proven experience working in Extreme Programming (XP) environments
• Comfortability with pair programming and agile ceremonies
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, delivery-driven environment
