Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers and product managers to define, design, and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following SOLID principles and Clean Architecture
• Implement robust application architectures such as MVVM, MVI, or MVP to ensure scalability
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Monitor application performance, perform bug fixing, and implement necessary improvements
• Research and acquire the latest technologies to maintain maximum development efficiency
• Maintain code integrity and participate in knowledge sharing across the engineering team

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven work experience in Android development
• 2+ years of professional experience coding with Kotlin
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, and Material Design principles
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Proficiency with code versioning tools and collaborative software like Git and Jira
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle and unit testing for robustness

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the banking or fintech domain
• Knowledge of the Google Approval and Distribution process
• Familiarity with continuous integration (CI) workflows
• Experience with third-party libraries and API integration
