Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications ensuring performance, scalability, and responsiveness
• Build intuitive and user-friendly interfaces while adhering to design standards and best practices
• Implement and execute UI and functional tests using Espresso, UI Automator, or Jetpack Compose testing frameworks
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and review processes
• Ensure seamless integration of mobile applications with backend APIs and services
• Contribute to build and deployment pipelines, supporting automation and release processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Android application development
• Proficiency in Kotlin/Java and Android SDK
• Strong experience with mobile app testing frameworks (Espresso, UI Automator, or Jetpack Compose testing)
• Solid understanding of QA practices, testing strategies, and defect management
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Good understanding of REST API integration and mobile architecture patterns
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud technologies
