About the Company

Nosh Robotics is a kitchen robotics startup building home robots that cook delicious food. Our vision is to enable everyone to cook and taste dishes from every corner of the Earth, making sure no one misses those meals they crave for, any time of the day!

Responsibilities

• Develop an IoT enabled Android app using Jetpack and Kotlin for our cooking robot
• Ensure quality through independent code reviews and unit-test code for robustness
• Work with APIs and external data sources
• Integrate AI and CV in the application
• Optimize existing apps' performance for speed and scalability
• Work with teams on delivering key features and performance targets

Requirements

• 1+ years experience building scalable android applications
• Proficient in Kotlin
• Published at least one original Android application
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Understanding of SOLID design principles and Android architecture patterns
• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Experience with Services, Workmanagers, BroadcastReceivers, and Alarmmanagers

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of JNI and using NDK
• Experience working with applications for hardware devices
