Android Developer

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform utilized in financial services
• Work with team leadership, Product Owners, and Designers to create software for enterprise and public app stores
• Contribute to the adoption of robust software architecture and engineering best practices
• Break down complex problems into elegant technical solutions for clients
• Utilize industry best practices to ensure code quality, usability, and reliability
• Advocate for test-driven development and deliver high-quality, resilient solutions
• Resolve defects and enhance application performance through code optimization

Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience working with the Android SDK
• Proven experience having published at least one sophisticated original Android app in a public or enterprise environment
• Proficiency in Kotlin and experience with the Android SDK
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• College degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
