Responsibilities

• Plan and develop advanced applications for the Android platform
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Integrate outside data sources and APIs
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and reliability
• Fix bugs and improve application performance
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize efficiency
• Cooperate with PMs, designers, and QA to create a great customer experience

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of building Android apps in Kotlin and Java
• In-depth understanding of Android libraries and the network layer
• Good understanding of Android fundamentals and end-to-end app development
• Knowledge of XML/JSON, SQLite, and Git
• Understanding of testing methods and the app release process
• Knowledge of integrating third-party plugins
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in engineering (CS/IT) or Bachelor of Technology (CS)
