About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native Android mobile applications
- Write technical specifications for apps
- Collaborate with designers on wireframes and mockups
- Fix bugs and improve application performance
- Update and maintain apps on an ongoing basis
Requirements
- Graduate degree
- Proficiency in Java and OO design
- Experience with Android SDK, Eclipse, and Android Studio
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, and SQLite
- Familiarity with Google APIs, Graph & Chart APIs
- UI/UX design skills
- Working knowledge of backend-integrated apps and third-party libraries
- Basic PHP knowledge
- At least one published original Android app
- Understanding of mobile architectures and emerging technologies
