Responsibilities

• Use editorial judgment to help determine the content of newscasts
• Work with producers and the newsroom team to create unique, fast-paced, and innovative newscasts
• Develop, write, shoot, and edit news stories for on-air, mobile, and social platforms
• Use social media and social listening to identify big stories and develop original content
• Write and post daily content across all digital platforms
• Interview news subjects and conduct research to ensure facts and credibility
• Deliver on-air news events in an engaging, exciting, and accurate manner
• Use creative production techniques, such as graphics and new media, to enhance storytelling

Requirements

• Minimum 10-20 years of news anchor or reporting experience
• Proven ability to enterprise news stories and develop original content
• Strong on-air presentation and writing skills with an authentic voice
• Proficiency in using the latest video editing and photography tools
• Experience writing for the web, including attaching images and streaming video
• Ability to interview subjects and perform deep research
• Journalism or Communication degree preferred
