Anatomy and Physiology Instructor

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person lecture and laboratory instruction for the 2-semester Anatomy and Physiology sequence.
• Deliver instruction for select upper-level and graduate courses as appropriate.
• Incorporate evidence-based teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes for health science majors.
• Serve as a mentor and resource for students navigating health science degrees and majors.
• Participate in program assessment, course material review, and the adoption of new teaching methodologies.
• Engage in departmental and college-level governance and working groups.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in biological science, health science, or a related field.
• Documented successful college-level teaching experience in human anatomy and physiology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in biological science, health science, or a related field.
• Experience using contemporary teaching methods and technology, including open educational resources and laboratory data collection systems.
• Experience in assessment and using results to improve course content and student learning outcomes.
• Experience in collaborative instruction and mentoring students across a range of majors.
