About the role

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and overhaul refinery analyzer systems, including Gas Chromatographs (GCs), CEMS, TDL, NIR, and sulfur analyzers.
  • Maintain and optimize analyzer sample handling systems through routine monitoring and preventive maintenance.
  • Perform analyzer modifications, data collection, and configuration/diagnostic data management.
  • Transport and maintain calibration gases and associated equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings such as P&IDs, PFDs, wiring diagrams, and loop drawings to support maintenance.
  • Provide instrumentation support for equipment in analyzer shelters, including transmitters, control valves, and gauges.
  • Document all work accurately in maintenance systems, including work orders and calibration records.
  • Participate in safety meetings and execute work in accordance with HSE requirements.
  • Support refinery operations through callouts, overtime, and off-shift work as required.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Associate’s Degree in science (specialization in Electronics or Instrumentation), a technical certificate, or three or more years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to pass a physical ability test and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Ability to pass a written test and a hands-on skill demonstration test.
