Analytics – Team Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and manage a team of analysts and senior analysts, providing coaching and oversight to ensure accuracy of analytical outputs.
• Oversee commercial and customer data analytics, focusing on piece-level data (PLD) to support pricing decisions and profitability.
• Build and maintain PLD reporting solutions in Power BI, ensuring all analyses meet established turnaround KPIs.
• Support the annual general rate increase process in partnership with commercial and pricing management teams.
• Drive Commercial IQ initiatives and contribute to the development of AI-driven analytical solutions.
• Analyze large volumes of commercial data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
• Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement within commercial analytics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or Computer Science.
• 5–8 years of experience in analytics, including significant experience directly leading a team.
• Expert knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Access, and Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Strong working knowledge of PySpark/Python, DAX, and Power Query for data processing and Power BI development.
• Proven ability to translate large data sets into clear business messages and recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or an MBA with an analytical focus.
• Microsoft Power BI certification.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer or Azure Data Scientist).
• Databricks certifications.
• Six Sigma or process improvement certifications.
