Analytics Engineer/Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models and analytics pipelines using Snowflake and dbt
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL-based transformations and reporting datasets
• Support and enhance Tableau dashboards, reports, and data sources
• Monitor, validate, and improve data quality across analytics workflows
• Investigate and resolve data pipeline issues, discrepancies, and reporting challenges
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions
• Create and maintain documentation for data models, business logic, transformations, and validation processes
• Contribute to best practices for analytics engineering, data governance, and reporting standards

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SQL for data transformation, analysis, and reporting
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt
• Experience developing or supporting Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and analytics data architecture
• Experience with data validation, quality assurance, and troubleshooting data issues
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a contract environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern data stack tools and end-to-end analytics workflows
• Familiarity with ELT/ETL processes and data warehousing best practices
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams
• Exposure to cloud-based analytics ecosystems and reporting platforms
