Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the analytical transformation layer and KPI calculation logic for warehouse automation data
• Structure and model operational data from warehouse automation environments
• Translate validated KPI requirements into precise calculation rules
• Define KPI measurement levels, filters, exclusions, time windows, and data sources
• Build and maintain reliable data transformation logic
• Implement data quality controls, validation rules, and reconciliation logic
• Document KPI definitions, calculation assumptions, and known limitations
• Ensure data models and KPI rules are versioned, tested, and reusable
• Collaborate with software architects, DevOps, full-stack developers, and operational stakeholders

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, BI Engineering, or Technical Data Analysis
• Strong SQL skills and deep understanding of databases and data modeling
• Experience defining and structuring KPIs
• Ability to work with operational, process-oriented, or event-driven data
• Proficiency in Python scripting for data tasks
• Familiarity with Git, version control, testing, and CI/CD practices
• Fluent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OLAP databases
• Knowledge of event-driven data, IoT, or MQTT
• Background in warehouse automation, supply chain, or logistics
• Experience in industrial data environments
