Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models that serve as the trusted source of truth for GTM analytics
• Develop the semantic/metrics layer to ensure consistency across dashboards, SQL, and AI agents
• Work with stakeholders to define and document commercial metric definitions
• Partner with Data Engineering on upstream pipelines and Data Scientists/Tableau analysts on downstream consumption
• Maintain documentation, lineage, and data quality testing across the modelling layer
• Contribute to the strategic direction of analytics and the GTM data stack

Requirements

• Deep expertise in SQL and dimensional/data modelling
• Strong working knowledge of dbt (staging, intermediate, marts, tests, and semantic layer)
• Foundational AI knowledge and openness to experimenting with AI tools
• Experience building analytics-ready datasets in partnership with BI consumers
• Proficiency with Python or another scripting language for orchestration
• Experience with AWS-based analytical stacks (S3, Athena, Glue, or similar)
• Experience with CI/CD-based deployment using GitHub
• Strong stakeholder management and a product-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Tableau or other modern BI tools
• Knowledge of statistical methods or machine learning
• Exposure to GTM platforms like Salesforce, Intercom, Netsuite, or Linear
• Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code tooling
