Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Identify overlapping data needs and create reusable mart tables
• Simplify existing transformations for downstream teams
• Build and monitor pipelines using Python and GCP
• Document schemas, lineage, and data contracts
• Manage IAM roles, data-access boundaries, and cost monitoring
• Mentor junior analysts and improve SQL skills across the Supply unit

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional data engineering experience
• Strong Python skills for ETL and orchestration
• Hands-on experience with GCP, BigQuery, Git, and CI/CD
• Advanced SQL skills including CTEs and window functions
• Ability to design structured plans for complex systems
• Proactive approach to platform health and governance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dbt or Dagster
• Familiarity with AWS services (Batch, Lambda, Step Functions)
• Domain knowledge in supply chain or logistics
• Exposure to data cataloging and observability platforms
