About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify overlapping data requirements and create reusable mart tables
- Simplify existing transformations to ensure logic consistency across downstream teams
- Develop and monitor data pipelines using Python and GCP
- Document schemas, lineage, and data contracts
- Manage IAM roles, data access boundaries, cost monitoring, and performance tuning
- Mentor junior analysts and promote SQL best practices within the supply department
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong Python skills for ETL and orchestration
- Practical experience with GCP, BigQuery, Git, and CI/CD
- Proficient in high-performance SQL (CTEs, Window functions, query optimization)
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to analyze complex systems and design structured optimization plans
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dbt or Dagster
- Familiarity with AWS services (Batch, Lambda, Step Functions)
- Domain knowledge in Supply Chain or Logistics
- Experience with Data Cataloging and Data Observability tools
