Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of supply data by building reliable, ready-for-analysis datasets and reusable mart tables
• Build, monitor, and maintain data pipelines using Python and GCP
• Simplify existing transformations to ensure downstream teams work from a single source of truth
• Document schemas, data lineage, and data contracts
• Manage platform health, including IAM roles, cost monitoring, performance tuning, and data validity checks
• Mentor junior analysts and improve SQL proficiency across the Supply unit

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional data engineering experience
• Strong Python skills for ETL and orchestration
• Hands-on experience with GCP and BigQuery
• Advanced SQL proficiency (CTEs, window functions, and query optimization)
• Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
• Ability to design clear, structured plans for improving complex data systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern transformation and orchestration tools like dbt or Dagster
• Familiarity with AWS core services (Batch, Lambda, Step Functions)
• Domain knowledge in supply chain or logistics
• Exposure to data cataloging and data observability platforms
