Analytics Client Service Specialist

Responsibilities

• Answer detailed client inquiries regarding MSCI products, methodology, and technical usage
• Analyze market performance and data for clients on both a reactive and proactive basis
• Develop and maintain client relationships through proactive follow-up and sharing relevant product information
• Act as a primary point of contact for routine inquiries and data requests
• Provide critical client feedback to Coverage, Product Management, Research, and Production groups
• Stay current with market trends and global financial events to better support client needs

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 5-7 years of experience in Financial Services
• Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Deep understanding of financial topics including market risk, credit risk, liquidity risk, VaR, and modern portfolio theory
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to senior management
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in an ambiguous environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MFE or MBA)
• Professional certifications such as CFA or FRM
• Proficiency in foreign languages
