About the role

Responsibilities

  • Independently plan, coordinate, and execute analytical method development, qualification, validation, and transfer activities.
  • Troubleshoot complex analytical method and instrumentation issues to maintain project timelines.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for specific analytical techniques such as chromatography or biologic assays.
  • Author and review high-quality technical documentation, including validation protocols, reports, SOPs, and method transfer packages.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive project deliverables and present scientific findings to stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize technical transfer processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior staff to build team capability.
  • Support technical root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Proven knowledge of analytical method validation, transfer, qualification, and GMP regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on laboratory experience with techniques such as HPLC, UV-Vis, ELISA, or SDS-PAGE.
  • Strong technical writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in a GMP regulated environment (Master's degree with 2-3 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with laboratory software such as LIMS and Chromeleon.
