Analytical Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare samples for analysis using established tests and techniques
• Perform routine chemical, metrological, and metallurgical analysis and reporting
• Maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment, including troubleshooting and verifications
• Sample and test physical characteristics in a production environment
• Manage lab organization, inventory, safety audits, and special projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science or related field, or 2+ years of related experience
• Experience in laboratory, quality, or chemical production settings
• Proficiency in laboratory practices including waste handling and safe work practices
• Experience with test methods such as ICP-OES, auto-titration, X-Ray Fluorescence, or Total Organic Carbon
• Ability to perform basic chemistry math and calculations
• Proficiency with LIMS and Microsoft Office
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and use a step ladder
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods
