Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily routine chemical and physical analysis to support production quality control and R&D projects
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, and lab compliance requirements
  • Coordinate with operators and scientists regarding sample status, data discrepancies, or technical questions
  • Deliver clear, accurate, and timely data reports to cross-functional teams
  • Oversee inventory of chemicals, consumables, and general laboratory supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and fully functional laboratory environment
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical laboratory instrumentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or related field or 2+ years of related experience in an analytical laboratory environment
  • Experience in laboratory settings, quality settings, or chemical production facilities
  • Experience with laboratory practices including waste handling, data entry, and good documentation practices
  • Experience with test methods such as ICP-OES, auto-titration, X-Ray Fluorescence, or Total Organic Carbon
  • Proficiency with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to regularly lift 35 lbs and use a step ladder
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
