Analytical Instrumentation Support

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Control processes including Statistical Quality Control (SQC), instrument verification, and validation.
• Perform technical evaluations of QC Lab processes regarding method and instrument reliability.
• Review and analyze SQC data to monitor instrument and technician performance.
• Manage instrument manuals, calibration protocols, and preventative maintenance plans.
• Lead the implementation, verification, and validation of analytical test methods.
• Provide analytical guidance and recommendations to technicians to decrease variation and enhance reliability.
• Qualify new analytical techniques and champion new methods to improve lab performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in chemistry or a related field.
• 5+ years of laboratory experience commensurate with plant technology.
• Proven experience in instrumentation troubleshooting.
