Analytical Chemistry Intern

Responsibilities

• Log received samples into SLIMS using client work orders
• Analyze analytical samples using correct procedures and methods
• Print sample labels and ensure correct sorting, labeling, and boxing
• Report results within specified time frames
• Operate laboratory instrumentation and record maintenance, calibration, and verification
• Adhere to all quality, health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations
• Comply with Laboratory Quality Management System (ISO17025)
• Assist with SANAS audits and monthly stock counts
• Maintain housekeeping in receiving and working areas

Requirements

• BSc, BTech, or National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry
• Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Science
• South African citizenship with valid ID
• Age between 18-30
• Currently unemployed with no criminal record
• Willingness to relocate to Forzando
• Exceptional computer literacy (MS Office suite)
• Strong research, organizational, and attention to detail skills
