Analytical Chemist, R&D

Responsibilities

• Partner with external testing laboratories to ensure accurate and timely analytical testing results for commercialization.
• Support the development, qualification, and validation of analytical methods for APIs, supplemental ingredients, and peptides.
• Analyze data and interpret results to support R&D development, process validation, and formula optimizations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, test methods, validation reports, and specifications.
• Ensure all analytical activities adhere to GLP and GMP regulatory standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D formulation, operations, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and support product development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytical chemistry, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, IR, UV, MS, and dissolution testing.
• Experience testing multi-analyte dosage forms such as tablets, gummies, topicals, and sterile injectables.
• Strong understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail in documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microbiological experience.
• Experience with compounded pharmaceutical products (both sterile and non-sterile).
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital health solutions.
