Analytical Chemist

Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing using a right-first-time approach to minimize out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations
• Play an active role in technical transfer activities and continuous improvement projects
• Prepare and review technical documentation and maintain laboratory logbooks
• Monitor and maintain laboratory inventory levels
• Manage incoming and outgoing samples for various project work
• Identify, raise, and progress OOS, deviations, and CAPAs in liaison with management and QA
• Ensure all analytical and documented work complies with cGMP and GXP guidelines
• Train other staff members following company policies and procedures
• Adhere to company Health & Safety policies to identify and mitigate potential risks

Requirements

• Experience performing routine analytical testing in a laboratory setting
• Proficiency in technical documentation preparation and review
• Experience with laboratory inventory management
• Demonstrated ability to handle OOS, deviations, and CAPAs
• Strong understanding of cGMP and GXP compliance requirements
• Ability to work a 3-day shift rotation basis
